During the 1950s Juhl designed a range of furniture with steel pipe frames, inspired by the American designers he had come across. Part of this range was the Table Bench, defined by an elegant, sophisticated design that remains truly timeless. Crafted from walnut, steel and finished with beautiful brass edging, the multipurpose piece embodies a stylish union of contrasting materials and textures. Whether used in a living room as a table to display books and decorative ornaments, or accessorised with a cushion to create a beautiful place to sit in a hallway or bedroom, the Table Bench is one of Juhl's most popular designs.
